Debbie Y. Jones-Lapsey of Providence, R.I. passed away August 23rd, 2022 peacefully. She was born on August 3rd, 1957 to the late Bessie Jones & James Farley & the wife of the late St. Clair Lapsey all of whom she will be joining in Heaven. She is survived by her children Keesha & Jerry Jones, both of Providence, R.I & her sisters Gwendolyn, Wanda & Robyn Jones all of Providence, R.I, Ruthann Perry of VA, Lashawon Thompson, Pam Farley & Sylvia Belanger all of NY., 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of family & friends. To have known Debbie was to love her. The only thing that she loved more than giving hugs & kisses was her family & friends. She was the life of the party & didn’t miss the opportunity to bring her loved ones to laughter. She will be missed dearly but not forgotten because she left an impression on many hearts.
Her visitation and funeral will be held on Saturday, September 3rd at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with visitation 9:00am - 10:15am immediately followed by a service. Burial will be held in North Burial Ground, 5 Branch Ave., Providence, R.I. 02904 at noon.
